Meet Martine
Hi, I’m Martine.
I am a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) and a certified Force-Free dog trainer (KPA CTP #50340). I am a passionate dog lover and have seen the benefit of Animal Assisted Interventions in my work as an OT.
I am a big believer that dogs have the ability to change lives, and can offer companionship like no other. With the right training, anyone can build a bond with their dog that brings comfort, support, and love into every day.
In creating Carrot - Fear Free Life Skills for Dogs, I aim to assist anyone who is looking to build and nurture this connection, teaching practical techniques that build clear two way communication between you and your dog. I can’t wait to hear from you!
Meet Mabel
Hi, I’m Mabel.
I earned my training stripes in 2024 when I qualified as a Karen Pryor Academy Canine Graduate. I am also an assistance dog, having recently passed my Public Access Test. When I am working I am a calm and attentive dog, and I take my job as a peer support dog very seriously. My role is to help other dogs learn to stay relaxed and focused, even when there are distractions around.
But don't be fooled! Once I am off duty I am a playful and energetic pup, and I love nothing more than making my mum laugh and swimming in every body of water I can find. I also spend my free time with my canine brother Fynny, who I have helped to gain confidence after we first adopted him as a scared rescue dog. I look forward to meeting you!
